THE REMOTE AND IMMEDIATE CAUSES OF AJAOKUTA LOCAL GOVERNMENT DOWNFALL FROM MY OWN PERSPECTIVE BY Ojeje Isah Abdulrahman.

Ajaokuta local government is one of the most blessed local government among the 774 local government in Nigeria. It is blessed with enormous natural resources including the notable iron and steel company. Despite all these blessing or free gifts from God, Ajaokuta local government is also among the poorest local government in Nigeria and this can be attributed to the following reasons.
Firstly, the abandonment of Ajaokuta iron and steel company. The company was established and commissioned by Alhaji Shahu Shagari's administration in 1983, and it was abandoned by the subsequent government. The Ajaokuta iron and steel company would have been a major source of income to the local government and the country at large. It would have generated a lot of employment opportunities which could have reduced the level of unemployment to zero level and again it would have facilitates rapid development and enhances the standard of living of the people of Ajaokuta local government area. Women; special wonders by U.K Umar

Creation:
The scriptural narratives of how man was created (carved with mud and life was breath into him) is easily relatable because the human brain can relate the story to a sculptor who used the medium of mud to create a human sculptor and with the powers, he blew into it life and praaaa! a man is made.
The stories are not the same for the woman. The popular one has it that she's made out of a man's rib. That requires some degree of faith to take in. A lot of people around our human world hold strongly to this angle. This has it's implications on how women are perceived by men. A tale too common and ugly to repeat.
Reality;
What is obvious to the eyes is that both men and women are unique in their physical attributes. These uniqueness are complimentary and not basis for judging superiority or inferiority. Our world is replete with evidences that prove that both men and women are capable of just about anything. The potential for good or bad could be found across the sexe…

WHY WE PRAY FOR EVERYTHING IN NIGERIA by Uwuma Precious

You either have everything working for you or you've never gone out there to get anything done, else you won't marvel at why religion is huge business in Nigeria.
Here everything depends on God.
You want to make that urgent bank transfer? You pray for your bank to have "network", else....
You're rushing someone to the emergency of any hospital in Nigeria? You pray for the needed drugs, machines and personnel to be available, functioning, else...
You are coming back from work, tired and need that weekend rest? You'll have to pray for NEPA, the traffic warden, your neighborhood church (or it will be in session blaring noise into your bedroom) and the Jumaat prayers of course, else the road might still be blocked by bowing folks.
If you are not prayerful enough, the day you will need to make that life and death phone call will be the day all the network service providers will be "having challenges" and frustrate your already twisted hustle. Who do you …

WILL THERE BE A CANDLE FOR YOU?

December 11th, 2016 was the Worldwide Candle Lighting Day. Everywhere around the globe, at 7 PM local time people lit candles to remember their lost loved ones.
The idea is to portray that even though people may have died and no longer exist in this world, their memories and legacies will endure. This brings the following questions to mind;
What will you be remembered for when you are gone?
Will your so-called loved ones even light a candle for
No doubt, this world we live in is a very dangerous and wicked one. We have to always ensure that when we leave, we should not be remembered for how many people we could have helped but never did, how many hearts we have broken, how many eyes cried because of our actions and inaction or how many relationships we have severed.
We should be remembered for the countless times we have helped people realized their true purpose and potentials in life. We should strive to impact our world positively so that when we leave, people will have a reason to …
